BUILT-IN Cuff Sleeve
The Built-In cuff sleeve is a versatile sleeve pattern with long puffy and bishop sleeves, and built-in lapped cuffs with loop closure.
This is a unique and timeless design technique, easy to add or adjust to any other pattern you already own.
*The VANA Dress PDF includes this BUILT-IN cuff sleeve pattern.
Light to medium-weight woven fabrics with crisp hand or with drape works perfectly. Example: Challis - Gingham - Poplin - Linen - Suiting - Silk - Wool
It's not recommended to use stretch knits or very heavy fabrics with a lot of drape for this pattern. They can turn heavy and cause bulkiness at the gathered seams.
Always prewash your fabric before cutting into it, in the way you intend to wash the finished garment. This way, your finished project will not shrink in size in unexpected ways.
